Then I would like you to write 5 interesting things about the opera. Each thing should be 1-2 sentences long. You should write things that you think a reader would find interesting or worth thinking about. Don’t write anything too obvious (“The opera is about finding love” “Her father is unkind”). Speculate. Offer a weird insight. Talk about your own reaction. Mention something the opera reminds you of. What does the opera make you think about? What was the best part? Why? Observe something about a character. Tell me something about the musical styles. Observe something about the humour of the opera. These are just suggestions, of course. I am giving you the toughest challenge of all: be interesting!
