1. Compose at least 4 lines of your own original poetry that is in some way inspired by Blake (either written in a similar style, or about a similar subject, or about a similar theme.).
2. After your poem, include a paragraph explanation of how your poem connects to the poetry of Blake. In your explanation, discuss at least 2 ways your poem connects to Blake’s poetry. In explaining how your poem is similar to Blake’s work, make reference to at least one of Blake’s poems assigned for class (don’t just mention the poem by title, but also reference specifics within the poem) to demonstrate how your poetry is connected to his. Please make reference only to Blake poems assigned to read for class rather than other poems by Blake.
