You will need to use Feminist theory and power control theory to explain the behaviors of any female criminal (infamous or not). Ex: Eileen Wuornos, Mary Kay LeTournea, Debra Lafave, Karla Faye Tucker… It doensn’t need to be someone who is well known, but someone that I can verify. Here is what you need to do:
1. Select the female criminal of your choice
2. Using Feminist Theory and one other theory, explain/justify their behavior and punishment. Examine whether or not they were treated fairly. Theories must be from our textbook.
3. Explain thoroughly how these theories can help us understand why they committed crime and whether their sentence was fair based on the elements of the crime.
4. Create a Power Point Presentation that is no more than 5 slides in length and submit the presentation
Your 5th slide should be your references that you used. You should cite your textbook and at least 2 Scholarly journals that you found to help you argue your position.
